In collaboration with a prestigious hospitality institution, the team is trained to deliver professional support and foster relationships with members. They aim for members to feel integrated into their community, contributing to the evolution of their workspaces.

The Director of Operations is accountable for overseeing all facets of site management and enhancing the member experience. This role involves scrutinizing current operations and exploring innovative avenues to provide unparalleled service.

Operational Management

  • Ensure optimal site management and staffing levels for efficient daily operations.
  • Monitor and uphold standards for daily procedures.
  • Communicate and reinforce company policies and procedures.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of front-of-house operations and IT systems.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering and deliveries.
  • Coordinate various services such as housekeeping, catering, and maintenance.
  • Maintain updated informational databases.

Financial Oversight

  • Adhere to budgetary constraints and expenditure guidelines.
  • Supervise the procurement of goods and services within budgetary limits.
  • Understand site management accounts and participate in financial reviews.
  • Ensure the achievement of Gross Profit Margin targets.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Promote a positive work environment focused on exceptional service.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively and support staff development.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to communicate updates and news.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing department.

Health, Safety, and Maintenance

  • Ensure completion of all necessary legislative training.
  • Adhere to workplace Health & Safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and audits.

Member Engagement and Culture

  • Build and maintain relationships with colleagues and members.
  • Foster a professional environment by understanding member needs.
  • Assist in member onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Proactively engage in event programming with the events team.
  • Lead cultural initiatives and partnerships within the community.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial role within hospitality or coworking sectors.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and commitment to timely project completion.
