Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Operations Director to oversee our catering services within the Education sector. This role is crucial in ensuring that we provide high-quality, nutritious, and sustainable food options for students across various locations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and the ability to drive results through a dedicated team. The Operations Director will be responsible for:

  • Fostering a culture of outstanding customer service within the community.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and company standards in all operational areas.
  • Developing strategies for financial growth and consistently surpassing financial objectives.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior clients to enhance service delivery and competitive advantage.
  • Overseeing the Operations Management team within the designated area.
  • Managing recruitment, training, and development of the operations team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborating with the sales team on site visits and presentations, ensuring operational feasibility of bids.

Working Schedule
Monday to Friday

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in contract catering within a senior management capacity across multiple sites.
  • Experience in the education sector is preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong track record of successful client collaboration.
  • Confidence in financial management and P&L oversight.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of up to £70,000, along with a 15% performance-related bonus and a company car or allowance.
