About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Director to oversee our operations in the London and South regions, specifically within our Education division. This role is crucial in ensuring that we provide high-quality, nutritious, and sustainable food options for students, reflecting our commitment to their wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record of achieving results through effective team management. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Fostering a culture of exceptional customer service within the community.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and company standards within your area of responsibility.
  • Driving financial growth and surpassing financial objectives.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior clients to enhance service delivery and competitive advantage.
  • Overseeing the Operations Management function within your designated area.
  • Managing recruitment, training, and development of the operations team to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
  • Supporting the sales team through site visits and operational assessments to ensure bids are viable and effective.

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday

Candidate Profile

The successful Operations Director will bring the following experience and skills:

  • Extensive background in contract catering, particularly in a multi-site management role.
  • Experience in the education sector is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Confidence in financial management and P&L oversight.
