Position Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Lead Project Coordinator to become part of our dynamic team at The Guinness Partnership. This role is essential as we expand our capabilities to align with our ongoing Change/IT Strategy and the increasing demands from our stakeholders. This is a permanent, full-time position that supports a flexible working arrangement.

The primary objective of this role is to strategize, oversee, and execute multiple simultaneous technical or organizational transformation initiatives within the defined scope, budget, and timelines, ensuring alignment with both customer and organizational needs. The Guinness Partnership is embarking on an ambitious Change/IT Strategy, and your role may involve managing projects such as:

  • Implementation of a new customer service center for an incoming Housing Association.
  • Integration initiatives for the broader Housing Association.
  • A comprehensive suite of data-related projects aimed at achieving our data objectives (including Data Discovery, Microsoft Fabric Assessment, and Implementation).
  • Exploratory projects for Power Apps.
  • Cybersecurity and IT integration initiatives.
  • Enhancing our Digital Offer (improving digital interactions for service delivery).
  • Deployment of new modules for our Housing Management System (NEC).
  • Records Management and SharePoint initiatives.
  • Addressing new responsive demands that arise to meet prioritized business needs.

Key Qualifications:

Mandatory:

  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects across various domains, including personnel, processes, applications, and technology.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience in managing delivery teams within a matrix structure.
  • Commercial insight and experience in contracting and overseeing third-party vendors.
  • Proficient in applying various project management methodologies and discerning the most suitable approach for each project.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Project for planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Exemplifies the core values of The Guinness Partnership.

Preferred:

  • Experience with cloud migration projects.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and cloud computing.
  • Skilled in using delivery and collaboration platforms (e.g., DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Teams).
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles and processes.
  • Experience within the housing sector.

Essential Credentials:

  • Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent).
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
