About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in the German Market. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and revenue expansion in the region.

Your primary focus will be on building and cultivating strategies to prospect, develop relationships, and close deals with key clients. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their performance marketing goals.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape and performance-driven advertising campaigns. Your ability to think critically and develop creative solutions to complex client problems will be essential in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive new business growth and revenue expansion in the German Market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities through targeted outreach and relationship development
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client performance marketing goals
  • Develop and deliver compelling marketing decks and client-facing proposals
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly revenue forecasting and account planning
Requirements
  • Proficient in German language
  • University Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in outreach and selling performance-driven advertising campaigns into digital marketing teams, ideally in the D2C space and on a CPC basis
  • Experience working in the German Markets
  • Good knowledge of performance marketing goals and metrics (CPC, CPA, CPL, ROAS, ROI, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of the marketing funnel and how a channel like Rokt would fit into an organization's marketing mix and goals
  • Professional client-facing skills. Polished, articulate and credible when communicating with clients. Full comprehension of client businesses and needs
  • A curious mind with a strong desire to leverage creative problem-solving skills to develop new ideas and revenue opportunities for the organization
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced, high energy sales culture with a proven track record of high performance
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
