Position Overview

As an essential contributor to our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Offering comprehensive administrative assistance as directed by your supervisor
  • Establishing and preserving both digital and physical project documentation
  • Refreshing internal monitoring systems
  • Delivering Build Complete documentation upon request
  • Entering project information into both internal and client databases as necessary
  • Retrieving database sheets of client system drawings/surveys/data and distributing them to relevant internal team members as needed
  • Locating pertinent quotes and generating Purchase Orders (POs) for approval
  • Requesting the allocation of internal resources
  • Ensuring adherence to the protocols and standards outlined in the Company Procedures and Quality Manual at all times
  • Communicating effectively and respectfully with staff and operatives
  • Performing any additional tasks as assigned

What You Can Anticipate from Your Apprenticeship Program

As an Apprentice at United Living, you will be engaged in meaningful work from the outset, gaining practical industry experience and the knowledge necessary to obtain a nationally recognized qualification. You will be motivated and challenged professionally, with full support from a network of experienced colleagues as you lay the groundwork for a career within United Living and the construction sector.

To assist you in acclimating to your role, we will assign you a buddy from our apprentice group. They will provide valuable insights as they have recently experienced a similar transition, and you will also receive a dedicated mentor to guide you throughout your apprenticeship, ensuring your professional success.

Training and Qualifications

To excel in this position, we seek candidates who possess:

  • 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C/4-9, including English and Mathematics
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A commitment to embodying our company values throughout your work and studies
  • The motivation and dedication to successfully complete your apprenticeship
