Customer Support Engineer
An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled graduate or seasoned support professional to join a leading innovative software technology firm. This role as a Customer Support Engineer is perfect for those looking to advance their careers within a rapidly growing machine learning software organization. Your daily responsibilities will include being the first point of contact for customer inquiries, diagnosing issues, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure effective resolutions.
Location: Central London – 3 days in office / 2 days remote
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 + healthcare, pension, and additional benefits.
Qualifications for Customer Support Engineer:
- A minimum of a 2.1 degree from a prestigious university in a STEM-related field.
- At least ABB at A-Level or equivalent UCAS points (please ensure A-Level grades are included on your CV).
- Basic knowledge of scripting in Python or Bash is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- A proactive self-starter with a knack for problem-solving.
- Strong ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
Key Responsibilities for Customer Support Engineer:
- You will receive comprehensive training on the machine learning platform to grasp the product's complexities.
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, particularly the technical team.
- Oversee customer issues from initial report to resolution.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and escalate issues to the technical team as necessary.
- Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the resolution process.
