About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transformation Manager to join our team at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading transformational change and driving improvement in patient care and staff experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Develop and implement project plans to achieve strategic objectives
    • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
    • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues
  • Change Management
    • Design and implement change management strategies to support organizational transformation
    • Develop and deliver training and development plans to support sustainable change
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address resistance to change
  • Service Improvement
    • Conduct analysis and research to identify opportunities for service improvement
    • Develop and implement service improvement plans to achieve strategic objectives
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service improvement initiatives
  • Operational Excellence
    • Develop and implement operational excellence strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address operational issues
    • Develop and implement plans to improve patient flow and achieve better alignment of capacity and demand
Requirements
  • Essential
    • Proven track record of delivering change projects and project management experience
    • Practical experience of change management
    • Examples of facilitating collaborative working
    • Proven planning and organizing experience
    • Performance management including monitoring of delivery to timescales
    • Experience of using Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, to analyze data and draw out key issues
    • Examples of leading on service improvement/workforce redesign projects
  • Desirable
    • Examples of leading multi-disciplinary team projects including senior clinical staff
    • Experience of devising training and development plans to support sustainable change
