Job Title: Head of Digital Transformation

About the Role:

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Digital Transformation Programme, driving the delivery of our comprehensive digital strategy and ensuring top-tier healthcare through innovative technology.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust Programme Management approach to deliver the Digital Transformation Programme and its projects.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to Production & Modernisation teams, identifying opportunities to improve service delivery.
  • Manage the Programme budget, ensuring expenditure aligns with budget plans and constraints.
  • Implement and contribute to the development of the Trust Digital Strategy.
  • Escalate issues and liaise with other teams and suppliers to resolve.
  • Deputise for the Deputy Director of Digital, representing Digital Services at key internal and external meetings.

Person Specification:

  • Master's degree in a related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing operational Digital Services teams within the NHS.
  • Substantial experience delivering complex Digital projects within a Health environment.
  • Excellent change management skills, including major service reconfiguration.
  • Ability to provide and receive complex information, using persuasive and motivational skills.
