Job Title: Hygiene Manager

At Higgidy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hygiene Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Hygiene team, you will play a critical role in ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning processes to ensure a high level of hygiene and cleanliness in our facilities.
  • Monitor and review KPI data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain service documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and training evidence.
  • Participate in customer visits and audits to ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Supervise and mentor the hygiene team to ensure that all personnel issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure that all paperwork associated with hygiene and cleaning processes is maintained and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a hygiene or cleaning role, preferably in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of microbiology and food safety principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Desirable qualifications include Level 4 Food Processing Hygiene Management, Level 4 Listeria Management, Level 3 Food Safety qualification, and Level 2 HACCP qualification.
