We are seeking a highly skilled Hygiene Manager to join our team at Higgidy. As a key member of our Hygiene team, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Hygiene Processes
    • Develop and implement effective cleaning processes to ensure a high level of hygiene is maintained.
    • Monitor and review KPI data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead the Hygiene Team
    • Supervise and mentor the hygiene team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure the team is up-to-date with the latest hygiene practices and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
    • Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure they meet our hygiene standards.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations
    • Ensure all hygiene processes and procedures are compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards.
    • Monitor and review our hygiene practices to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
Requirements
  • Hygiene Experience
    • Proven experience in a hygiene role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Excellent understanding of hygiene practices and procedures.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Desirable Qualifications
    • Level 4 Food Processing Hygiene Management.
    • Level 4 Listeria Management.
    • Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
    • Level 2 HACCP qualification.
