About the Role

Crisis is a national charity dedicated to ending homelessness. As a Housing First Coach, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals experiencing homelessness. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide innovative and effective solutions to address the complex needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver trauma-informed coaching to individuals experiencing homelessness, using a Housing First approach.
  • Establish and maintain open and trusting relationships with clients, empowering them to access and sustain accommodation.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement creative solutions to address the complex needs of our clients.
  • Provide practical assistance with moving into and maintaining a home, including direct help with tasks such as shopping, budgeting, cooking, and cleaning.
About You

We are looking for a self-starter with a passion for delivering high-quality support to individuals experiencing homelessness. You will have experience of working collaboratively as part of a team and with internal and external partners. You may have a background in housing/homelessness support, adult safeguarding, drug or alcohol recovery services, or mental health.

You will have a strong understanding of the needs of people who have been homeless for long periods of time and be able to provide creative solutions to address these needs. You will be willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible in your approach.
