Job Description

Purpose of the Role

To establish and nurture profitable partnerships with corporate clients, serving as a bridge between the bank's offerings and clients' needs, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance, supporting the analysis of data from various sources to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct research and analysis of client industry trends, regulatory landscapes, and competitive environments to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Design customized solutions that address clients' specific needs and objectives, incorporating a range of products and services from the bank's portfolio.
  • Communicate the value proposition of proposed solutions, justify recommendations, and negotiate terms that benefit both the client and the bank.
  • Provide guidance to clients on financial decisions, risk management, and wealth management strategies, as well as updates on market trends to ensure a positive and continuous relationship.
  • Assess financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships and implement measures to minimize potential losses.
  • Document all client interactions, transactions, and agreements to ensure transparency and auditability, and communicate findings effectively to support product development, service offerings, and the bank's overall strategy.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of relationship management efforts.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to support the identification of potential new opportunities, market trends, and customer needs, and develop strategies for business growth.

  • Consult on complex issues, providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
  • Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, requiring an understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the organization's objectives.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work to provide business-aligned support and stay up-to-date with business activity and strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information, including sensitive or difficult-to-communicate content.
  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
