Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients with complex neurological presentations, utilizing clinical reasoning skills and evidence-based practice.
- Develop and implement rehabilitation plans, taking into account individual needs and goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, therapists, and carers, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals, using tact and persuasive skills to facilitate smooth transitions and care pathways.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices, research, and guidelines in neurological rehabilitation, applying this knowledge to inform clinical decision-making.
- Registered nurse or postgraduate physiotherapist/occupational therapist with current NMC or HCPC registration.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience, with a focus on neurological rehabilitation.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed clinical decisions.
