Job Title: Commissioning Editor - ELT Publishing Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Editor to join our team at Inspired Selection. As a Commissioning Editor, you will be responsible for overseeing and project managing multi-component ELT projects, including course books and teacher resources for the schools market in Egypt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission and publish high-quality print, audio, and digital learning materials, working according to the Ministry of Education brief.
  • Manage complex projects with fixed budgets and deadlines.
  • Build and manage successful relationships with local publishing teams and collaborators in the UK.
  • Develop educational products and content for the ELT market.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in ELT publishing, including project management and content development.
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Ability to build and manage successful relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience of producing learning materials for the Middle Eastern market is beneficial but not essential.

About the Role:

This is an initial 9-month contract, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs. The role may involve travel during the initial 9-month period.
