About the Role

The Leicestershire Adult Learning Service is seeking a part-time (0.5 FTE) Administrative Team Supervisor. This role is integral to the LALS Central Accreditation and Data team, which prioritizes precise and timely data collection.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a dedicated team of Administrative Team Supervisors, assisting the Central Team HUB Manager in ensuring the effective operation of the team. A strong focus will be placed on the aggregation and verification of critical data and accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and processing enrolments via telephone.
  • Registering learners with awarding bodies while adhering to strict deadlines and guidelines.
  • Communicating with awarding bodies and curriculum staff to address inquiries.
  • Applying for access arrangements for learners with the relevant awarding body.
  • Claiming results and qualifications from the awarding body.
  • Inputting results and data into the Management Information System (MIS).
  • Supervising Administrative Assistants and supporting the HUB Manager.

Some out-of-hours work may be necessary, along with the flexibility to cover for colleagues during absences.

About You

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • Experience working with various exam boards in an adult learning environment, along with administrative expertise.
  • Proficiency in data management using ProSolutions MIS, customer service experience, and skills in minute-taking.
  • A solid command of written and spoken English and numeracy, equivalent to Functional Skills Level 2 or above.
  • Previous experience in line management, including supervisions, monitoring of absences, and staff development.
  • The ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively while managing team responsibilities under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and a flexible approach to work, including availability for evening and occasional weekend shifts.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR), Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI).
