About the Role
The Leicestershire Adult Learning Service is seeking a part-time (0.5 FTE) Administrative Team Supervisor. This role is essential for ensuring the effective management and operational efficiency of the Central Accreditation and Data team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the processing of enrolments via telephone.
- Registering learners with relevant awarding bodies while adhering to strict deadlines and guidelines.
- Collaborating with awarding bodies and curriculum staff to address any queries.
- Applying for access arrangements for learners with the appropriate awarding body.
- Claiming results and qualifications from the awarding body.
- Inputting results and data into our Management Information System (MIS).
- Providing line management to Administrative Assistants and supporting the HUB Manager.
Flexibility is required, including some out-of-hours work to cover for staff absences.
About You
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- Prior experience working with various exam boards and in an adult learning environment.
- Strong administrative skills and experience in data management using ProSolutions MIS.
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in minute-taking.
- A good command of written and spoken English and numeracy, equivalent to Functional Skills Level 2 or above.
- Previous experience in line management, including supervision and monitoring of staff.
- The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a flexible approach to work, including evening and occasional weekend availability.
- Thorough knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR) and a commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI).
