Job Title: Head of College (Operations)

The Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of College (Operations) at our newly established Engineering College of Technology (ECT) in the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader to join our team and drive the expansion of our operations in the UK. As the Chief Executive and Principal Managerial and Administrative Head of ECT, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and direction of the overall operations of the College.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the College, driving the implementation of our strategic and business plans.
  • Establish and oversee effective monitoring and evaluation systems for continuous improvement of learning and teaching.
  • Manage the College funds in accordance with delegated authority, ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Serve as the designated accountable officer to the Office for Students in all matters relating to registration and public funding.
  • Maintain strong governance structures, leadership teams, and management arrangements within the College.
  • Manage the full- and part-time managerial, academic, administrative, and support staff of the College.
  • Promote the best interests of the College by building constructive relationships with key external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Self-motivated and able to lead and grow the team
  • Strong strategic planning and organisational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management
  • Able to work autonomously with remote teams
  • Adaptable with a 'Can Do' attitude
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
