Head of College Operations

About the Role
The Engineering Institute of Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Head of College Operations. As the Chief Executive and Principal Managerial and Administrative Head, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and direction of the overall operations of the College.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the College, driving the implementation of business plans and innovation for growth.
- Establish and oversee effective monitoring and evaluation systems for continuous improvement of learning and teaching, ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures and external regulatory requirements.
- Manage the College's finances, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance with delegated authority and financial regulations.
- Serve as the designated accountable officer to regulatory bodies, ensuring the College's registration and use of public funding are in accordance with regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong governance structures, leadership teams, and management arrangements within the College.
- Lead and manage the full- and part-time managerial, academic, administrative, and support staff of the College.
- Promote the best interests of the College by building constructive and positive relationships with key external stakeholders in industry, academia, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Degree qualified with a strong background in a similar role.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, organisational management, and leadership.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
- Able to work autonomously with remote teams and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
