Job Title: Head of College Operations

Job Summary:

The Engineering Institute of Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of College Operations. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in the establishment, management, and growth of our UK-based operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the College, driving the implementation of our business plans and ensuring the highest standards of integrity, objectivity, and honesty in all aspects of the role.
  • Operational Management: Take primary responsibility for the management of the College's affairs, including human resources, health and safety, wellbeing, and risk management.
  • Financial Management: Manage the College's funds in accordance with delegated authority, ensuring the College's financial sustainability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with key external stakeholders, including industry partners, academia, and regulatory bodies.
  • Team Management: Manage the full- and part-time managerial, academic, administrative, and support staff of the College.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree qualified
  • Experience: Demonstrated, in-depth experience in a similar role
  • Skills: Strong strategic planning and organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and time management, ability to work autonomously with remote teams, adaptable with a 'Can Do' attitude, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, able to confidently lead and grow the team, ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
