Job Title: Head of College (Operations)

The Engineering College of Technology (ECT) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of College (Operations). This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in the establishment, management, and growth of our UK-based operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the College, driving the implementation of our strategic and business plans.
  • Take primary responsibility for the management of the College's affairs, including human resources, health, safety, wellbeing, and risk management.
  • Establish and oversee effective monitoring and evaluation systems for continuous improvement of learning and teaching.
  • Manage the College's funds in accordance with delegated authority, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the designated accountable officer to the Office for Students, representing the College in all matters related to registration and public funding.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified with a strong background in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, organisational management, and leadership.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead remote teams, with a 'Can Do' attitude and adaptability in the face of challenges and setbacks.
