2nd Line IT Support Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our growing team and provide exceptional technical support to our expanding customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch customer service and support via remote and onsite visits
  • Work efficiently to meet customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and adapt priorities as needed
  • Participate in the 24/7 support rotation and be available to respond to critical issues
  • Perform regular network and Active Directory management tasks to ensure seamless operations
  • Utilize the service desk system to track, report, and update incidents in a timely manner
  • Keep customers informed and up-to-date on the status of their issues
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in 1st/2nd Line IT support, preferably in a helpdesk or MSP environment
  • Technical expertise in Microsoft Windows, including desktop and server operating systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and under pressure, with strong time management and priority handling skills
  • Self-motivated and able to provide root cause analysis
  • Technical documentation skills and a professional working attitude
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of Windows 7 & 10, Microsoft Office 2010+, MacOS X, Windows Server 2016/2019, AD Administration, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 – 2016, Office 365, and networking technologies
