We are on the lookout for a responsible, enthusiastic, and effective leader to become part of our management team, serving as the second-in-command during the site manager's absence while overseeing, mentoring, and inspiring the team.

*Role Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee store operations in the absence of management.

Utilizing your leadership skills, you will ensure the team functions efficiently, driving sales, enhancing profitability, and ensuring customer satisfaction.


*Key Duties:

  • Manage inventory and stock control, including conducting weekly stock takes and generating reports.
  • Ensure promotional items are adequately stocked and displayed.
  • Monitor fuel stock levels, checking current volumes and delivery schedules.
  • Strive to minimize waste and improve operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate and refine processes to boost productivity and output.
  • Address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Report any operational or personnel issues to the Store Manager.
  • Uphold Health & Safety, Food Safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure accurate banking and cash handling procedures.
  • Verify cash floats and ensure proper cashing up procedures.
  • Complete banking summaries and conduct necessary checks.
  • Comply with age-restricted item policies and maintain accurate ID logs.
