We are seeking a responsible, enthusiastic, and effective leader to become part of our management team, acting as the second-in-command during the absence of the site manager, while overseeing, mentoring, and inspiring the team.

*Role Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee store operations in the absence of management.

Utilizing your leadership skills, you will ensure that the team functions efficiently, driving sales, enhancing profitability, and ensuring customer satisfaction.


*Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory and stock control, including conducting weekly stock takes and generating reports.
  • Ensure that promotional items are well-stocked and attractively displayed.
  • Monitor fuel stock levels to meet targets by assessing current volumes and delivery schedules.
  • Continuously seek to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate and refine processes to enhance productivity and maximize results.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Report any operational or personnel issues to the Store Manager.
  • Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure accurate banking and cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Verify cash floats and oversee cashing up processes.
  • Complete banking summaries and reports, ensuring all checks are performed.
  • Adhere to age verification policies for restricted items.
