We are currently seeking a responsible, enthusiastic, and effective leader to become a key member of our management team, acting as the second-in-command during the absence of the site manager, while guiding, mentoring, and inspiring the team.

*What will my role entail?
As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee store operations in the absence of management.

Utilizing your leadership skills, you will ensure the team operates efficiently, drives sales, enhances profitability, and maintains customer satisfaction.


*Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory and stock control, including weekly stock assessments and reporting.
  • Ensure promotional items are adequately stocked and attractively displayed.
  • Monitor fuel stock levels by assessing current volumes, site stock, and delivery schedules.
  • Continuously strive to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
  • Evaluate and modify processes to enhance productivity and maximize results.
  • Address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Report any store or employee concerns to the Store Manager.
  • Uphold Health & Safety, Food Safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure accurate banking and cash handling procedures.
  • Verify floats and ensure proper cashing up.
  • Complete cash summaries and reports, performing necessary checks.
  • Comply with Challenge 25 policies regarding age-restricted items and ID verification.
