About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at NHS Professionals Limited. As a Registered Nurse - Oncology Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with cancer and related conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience working as a Registered Nurse in an NHS hospital setting, with a focus on oncology care.
  • IV therapy training and experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
