Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve:
- Delivering high-quality, holistic care to children and young people with complex and palliative needs.
- Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Assessing, planning, and implementing evidence-based nursing interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
- Taking on leadership responsibilities during shifts, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
- Participating in knowledge sharing and training initiatives in partnership with the learning and development team.
- Providing care across a flexible shift pattern, including early mornings, late evenings, nights, and weekends.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Experience in palliative care or working with children with complex health conditions.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with professionals from various disciplines.
- Demonstrated innovative and evidence-based practice.
- Understanding of clinical supervision and reflective practice.
Desirable:
- Completion of a palliative care course.
