As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing a major investment project, working closely with the Project Manager to deliver high-profile clean water projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the project team in ensuring compliance with legal and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement H&S management arrangements.
  • Administer the Project Management Plan, ensuring Quality Assurance is integrated throughout.
  • Deploy the MWHT Business Management System.
  • Ensure staff have necessary training and experience for their roles.
  • Understand client contracts and supply chain agreements.
  • Support the Project Manager and QS in supply chain notifications and cost management.
  • Work with the LDE, PM, and QS to manage internal design costs.
  • Develop proficiency in client digital platforms.
  • Cascade project outputs to design and construction teams.
  • Manage stakeholder accountability and programme obligations.
  • Evaluate and escalate key project issues and risks.
  • Implement MWHT Quality management and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement against contractual KPIs.
  • Lead project governance from a client-facing perspective.
  • Support resource profiling and supply chain progress reporting.
  • Represent the Project Manager at client meetings.
