Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Delivery team at MWH Treatment. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Cost Management: Ensure project costs are accurately forecasted and managed to prevent exceeding tender or varied allowances.
- Payment Management: Ensure timely submission of payment applications to maintain a positive cash flow.
- Contract Reviews and Forecasts: Conduct regular contract reviews and submit forecasts on time to inform project decisions.
- Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients at all levels to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Project Management Strategy: Assist in the development and implementation of the project management strategy to ensure project success.
- Contract Filing Systems: Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date contract filing systems to ensure easy access to project information.
- Programme Management: Assist in the production of the contract programme and monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- O&M Manuals: Provide data for the timely production of O&M manuals to ensure smooth handover to clients.
- Subcontractor and Supplier Management: Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Site Management: Liaise with site management to resolve design and procurement issues.
- Subcontract Performance: Monitor subcontract performance to ensure projects are delivered to the required standard.
- Construction Completion and Takeover: Assist in the preparation of construction completion and takeover documentation to ensure a smooth handover to clients.
- Continuous Professional Development: Participate in external networking, conferences, and associations to stay current with industry changes and innovations.
- Professional Image: Present a professional and positive image of the department and MWH Treatment in all internal and external contact.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design departments to ensure timely progression of quality solutions.
- Innovation: Evaluate innovative solutions and processes to improve project delivery.
- Risk and Opportunity Management: Contribute to risk and opportunity schedules on a monthly basis to inform project decisions.
- Design Safety: Ensure designs are developed that are safe to construct, commission, operate, and maintain.
- Capitalisation: Complete the capitalisation process to ensure accurate project costing.
