Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Delivery team at MWH Treatment. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Cost Management: Ensure project costs are accurately forecasted and managed to prevent exceeding tender or varied allowances.
  • Contract Administration: Ensure all applications for payment are made on or before the due date, and contract reviews and monthly forecasts are completed and submitted on time.
  • Client Relationships: Maintain excellent relationships with clients at all levels, providing open and honest communication and feedback.
  • Project Management: Assist the Project Manager in developing and implementing the project management strategy, ensuring timely progression of quality solutions.
  • Contract Filing: Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date contract filing systems.
  • Progress Reporting: Monitor project progress and produce regular progress reports, highlighting any issues or concerns.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry changes and innovations, participating in external networking, conferences, and associations to ensure continuous professional development.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to have a strong understanding of project management principles and practices, with experience in contract administration and cost management.
