Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives, focusing on the agricultural sector.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential areas for expansion in the agricultural industry.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team with expertise in the agricultural sector.
  • Set clear sales targets, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agricultural suppliers, and other stakeholders in the industry.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and responsiveness.

Sales Performance:

  • Drive the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals in the agricultural sector.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to make informed business decisions.

Collaboration:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience of selling within the agricultural industry.
  • Demonstrable experience of selling to agricultural suppliers and distributors.
  • 10+ years of successful sales leadership experience within the agricultural industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of agricultural processes, materials, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
