We are in search of a proactive and enthusiastic Business Operations Analyst to enhance our customer-facing platforms and websites. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the product team to cultivate stakeholder relationships and facilitate discovery sessions. Your role as a Business Operations Analyst will be essential in gathering requirements, crafting intricate user stories, and overseeing the product backlog.

As an effective communicator, you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for product management (with substantial experience in JIRA), serve as a subject matter expert, and excel in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the complete process for various projects, including:
    • Organizing and leading workshops.
    • Gathering and clarifying requirements.
    • Transforming requirements into detailed user stories.
    • Writing comprehensive acceptance criteria.
    • Defining success metrics and tracking progress.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for our customer-facing platforms, demonstrating deep knowledge of the product.
  • Proactively manage and encourage colleagues and related teams to meet deadlines and ensure ongoing progress.
  • Identify risks and collaborate with product vendors to address issues impacting release scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Engage in integration discussions, documenting action items and ensuring effective communication among teams.
  • Assist the Product Owner & Product Engineer in managing the broader Product team, including onshore and offshore developers.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in writing complex user stories and detailed acceptance criteria.
  • Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Trello).
  • Ability to take initiative and drive projects from inception to completion.
  • Proven background in a product or business analyst role, preferably in a web-based customer environment.
  • Strong technical awareness and comfort in participating in integration discussions and documenting technical processes.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • A genuine interest in learning about our products and staying updated on industry trends.
