Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Support Specialist to contribute to our Domestic Abuse service in Kent. This role does not require prior experience or personal care skills, but rather a commitment to the right values.

Compensation:
£24,960.00 per annum, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. Our benefits package includes 25 days of Annual Leave, pension schemes, staff discounts, healthcare, and opportunities for career advancement.

Impact:
As a Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping women and children transition to lives free from abuse. Your work will make a significant difference in their journey towards safety and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer referrals and complete necessary risk assessments while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Build supportive and trusting relationships with clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Collaborate with team members to manage service caseloads and administrative tasks effectively.
- Assist clients in setting personalized goals through Safety and Support Plans.
- Conduct engaging key work sessions to help clients achieve their Support Plan objectives.
- Support clients in maintaining a healthy living environment, including assistance with cleaning when necessary.
- Record and report customer incidents accurately.
- Develop safety plans in collaboration with clients.
- Maximize referrals to ensure service capacity is met.
- Cultivate relationships with partner organizations to enhance service outcomes.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring the well-being of yourself and colleagues.
- Involve clients in the design and delivery of services, empowering them to access their entitled benefits.
- Encourage participation in relevant programs to support successful transitions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and local protocols.
- Engage in ongoing learning and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
