About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Admissions and Customer Service Officer to join our Student Admissions Team at Gateshead College. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our prospective students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality customer service and support to students, parents, and other stakeholders
  • Process and manage student applications, including handling queries and resolving issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of student admissions services
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with external partners and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of student admissions strategies and processes

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in functional skills (literacy and numeracy)
  • Hold or be working towards an IT qualification at least Level 2 or equivalent experience
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject area or significant relevant experience
  • Demonstrate a positive approach to personal development and evidence of continuous updating of skills and knowledge
