Support Worker Opportunity in Honiton, Devon

We are seeking a caring and passionate Support Worker to join our Residential Service for Adults with Complex Needs in Honiton, Devon. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives.

About the Role:

  • Provide support to individuals with complex needs, promoting independence and choice.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of service users.
  • Follow care plans and provide personal care as required.
  • Take service users on community outings and participate in activities such as arts, crafts, and day trips.

Requirements:

  • No experience is required, but a caring nature and ability to engage with individuals with complex needs is essential.
  • Some knowledge of British Sign Language is beneficial.
  • Must be resilient and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drivers are essential due to the location.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £24,793-£26,083 (plus sleeps) + overtime.
  • Full-time, 40-hour contract with 2 sleeps per week.
  • Permanent contract with opportunities for progression.
  • DBS paid for and opportunity to complete professional qualifications.
  • Flexible working hours and dedicated induction programme.
