We are seeking a caring and passionate Support Worker to join our Residential Service for Adults with Complex Needs in Honiton, Devon. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage independence and support individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensure the safety of service users.
  • Follow care plans for each individual.
  • Take service users out into the community.
  • Participate in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care.

Requirements:

  • No experience is required.
  • Must have some knowledge of British Sign Language.
  • Must be resilient.
  • Drivers are essential due to the location.
  • Candidates must be happy to provide personal care.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £24,793- £26,083 (plus sleeps) + plenty of overtime available, paid at time and a half.
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week + 2 sleeps per week.
  • Permanent contract.
  • 2 on 4 off shift pattern.
  • Location: Honiton, Devon.
