Role Overview

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the registration and processing of insurance claims related to customers' General Liability, motor, and property policies. This position involves collaboration with policyholders, brokers, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure the validity of claims. Responsibilities include managing client communications and ensuring timely processing of new claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the OICP and MOJ portal for the team, ensuring proper allocation of new claims and awareness of submitted medical evidence.
  • Manage client inboxes for incoming claims and related correspondence.
  • Coordinate with adjusters and clients on claims not exclusively handled by the TPA team.
  • Register injury claims with CACHE for the team.
  • Assist with payment processing as required.
  • Manage personal and team diaries for claims handled by adjusters.
  • Support pre-fixing post in the system.
  • Utilize our tailored IT system to effectively manage outstanding tasks and workload.
  • Maintain direct communication with clients through your own phone and access to relevant mailboxes.

Candidate Profile - Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in a claims environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with the MOJ and OCIP portals, including key dates.
  • Basic understanding of claims management and the lifecycle of a claim.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with adjusters, clients, and solicitors.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and active listening abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • A foundational understanding of the legal system.
