Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Waiter/ess to join our team at Franco's, a renowned Italian restaurant in London. As a key member of our Front of House team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing a team of waiters and waitresses, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of waiters and waitresses to provide excellent customer service and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Manage the dining room, including table assignments, seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth service flow
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of waiters and waitresses to achieve business objectives
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market research to inform business decisions

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Head Waiter or Supervisor in a similar establishment, with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and classic cocktails
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Knowledge of reservation systems and Point of Sale software
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
