Job Summary

Celebrity Cruises is seeking a highly experienced Beverage Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the bar operations and related activities across our entire fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar, including inventory management, staff supervision, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve beverage sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative beverage menus and promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including USPH rules.
  • Manage budgets and financial reports to ensure accurate forecasting and cost control.
  • Supervise a team of at least 30 employees, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the highest quality products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our beverage offerings.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in Beverage Management on a cruise ship.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in either hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience supervising a team of at least 30 employees.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage brands, liquor quality, and beer and wine varieties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with international staff and guests.
  • Proficiency in computer software and internet navigation.
  • Fluency in English, with bonus points for speaking other languages such as Spanish, French, or German.
