Job Summary

Park Plaza London Waterloo is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. As a key member of our food and beverage operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of our breakfast, meeting and events, restaurant, bar, and room service operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring seamless coordination between kitchen and service teams.
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies to maintain adequate stock levels, ensuring minimal waste and optimal efficiency.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for our guests.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost control, and achieving revenue targets, contributing to the overall success of the food and beverage department.
  • Collaborate with the food and beverage team to develop and implement new menu concepts, promotions, and events.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant and Bar Manager or Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in a hotel or similar establishment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
