Job Title: Junior Quantity Surveyor

Company: Reworks London Ltd.

Location: London, On Site

Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Summary:

Reworks London Ltd. is seeking a skilled Junior Quantity Surveyor to assist in managing the contractual and financial aspects of construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Support in measuring and valuing works completed on-site.
  • Collaborate with senior quantity surveyors to prepare tender documents and contracts.
  • Monitor project progress and update cost projections.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Review and negotiate subcontractor agreements and payments.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost control.
  • Maintain accurate records of variations, claims, and costs.
  • Assist in risk management processes and provide input on potential cost implications.
  • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and value engineering processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and project delivery.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop in the role.

Salary: £27,500 - £32,500 per annum
