The Senior Quantity Surveyor's Role

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing two assistant quantity surveyors, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their day-to-day quantity surveying work.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Compiling and reviewing quantity surveying reports
  • Mentoring and developing junior quantity surveyors
  • Working closely with project managers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Managing multiple projects across different sectors and values

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MRICS or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of managing quantity surveyors within a professional services environment
  • UK PQS/Consultancy background
  • Associate ambition
  • Strong pre and post-contract knowledge
  • Ability to work comfortably across multiple projects
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills
