Position: Junior Quantity Surveyor


Our client, Recruitment Services UK, is a well-established consultancy in the field of Quantity Surveying, looking to enhance its workforce by bringing on board a dedicated Junior Quantity Surveyor.


As a result of ongoing expansion, there is a need for an Assistant or Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial division.

You should possess experience in the mechanical and electrical sector, with the capability to engage in projects across various locations.

The responsibilities you will undertake primarily involve working with both Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors in the mechanical and electrical domain.


Key Qualifications:

  • Candidates who exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for pursuing a career in Quantity Surveying within the mechanical and electrical sector will be considered, even if they lack direct project experience.
  • Individuals with a technical background in mechanical and electrical services who are looking to transition into Quantity Surveying are encouraged to submit their applications.
  • Ideally, applicants should have prior experience working on mechanical and electrical projects for main contractors or specialized subcontractors.
  • Strong post-contract experience is particularly valued.


Essential Requirements:

  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance and be prepared to travel to client offices or construction sites regularly.
  • Possession of a CSCS Card is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
