Clinical Lead for Adult Mental Health Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing senior medical support to our multidisciplinary teams, working closely with Consultant Psychiatrists, Senior Trainees, and Core Trainees to deliver high-quality care to adults with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide senior medical support to the team, including direct input on clinical cases
- Develop links with local acute trusts' A&E departments and inpatient wards
- Assess, manage, plan, and deliver care to patients allocated to you
- Support your peers and the team manager, working on your own initiative
- Supervise junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies
- Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
- Section 12 certification, or a commitment to work towards this
- Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in adults
- At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time basis)
