We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Passenger Assistant and Minibus Driver at Carefirst Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist service users on and off the vehicle, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Collect and return service users from their homes to the vehicle, providing a door-to-door service.
  • Work as part of a large team of drivers and passenger assistants, under the day-to-day management of Transport Officers.
  • Assist customers with mobility aids, such as wheelchairs, and ensure their safe transportation.
  • Provide a high level of customer care and support to service users, promoting their physical, mental, and social well-being.

Requirements:

  • D1 or PCV licence with D1 without restrictions.
  • A caring and compassionate nature, with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.79 for Passenger Assistants and £14 for Drivers.
