About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Counselling Lecturer to join our team at a Further Education College in Blackburn. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective teaching, learning, and assessment at undergraduate level across the FdA and BA (hons) Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students on our Counselling courses
  • Maintain and develop the curriculum to ensure relevance to Counselling and related industry organisations
  • Engage with students using a variety of learning and teaching modes, including face-to-face and blended learning
  • Have a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, a UK Honours degree in a relevant discipline, and a postgraduate qualification at level 7 in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional qualification
  • Be a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or equivalent practice experience and a current practicing counsellor
