Job Title: Lecturer in Counselling

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lecturer in Counselling to join our team at the University Centre. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Counselling and a passion for teaching and learning.

About the Role:

The Lecturer in Counselling will be responsible for delivering effective teaching, learning and assessment at undergraduate level across the FdA and BA (hons) Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy programmes. This will include developing and maintaining the curriculum to ensure relevance to Counselling and the wider links related industry organisations as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to students on the FdA and BA (hons) Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy programmes.
  • Develop and maintain the curriculum to ensure relevance to Counselling and the wider links related industry organisations as required.
  • Engage with students using a variety of learning and teaching modes, including face-to-face and blended learning on full, part-time and short courses.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant discipline and a strong background in Counselling. They will also have experience of teaching and learning in a higher education setting and be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
