Counselling Lecturer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Counselling lecturer to join our team at the University Centre. As a Counselling lecturer, you will have the opportunity to positively enhance learners' lives through teaching at the College.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment at undergraduate level across the FdA and BA (hons) Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy programmes.
  • Support students completing these programmes, as well as being flexible and willing to teach on other programmes within the school.
  • Maintain and develop the curriculum to ensure relevance to Counselling and the wider links related industry organisations as required.
  • Engage with students using a variety of learning and teaching modes, including face to face and blended learning on full, part time and short courses.

Requirements:

  • 12 months teaching experience in counselling based subjects (excluding experience gained during your teaching qualification).
  • Three years' experience in a counselling role.
  • A Masters degree in a relevant discipline.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £26,393 to £39,819 pro-rata, per annum.
  • A Market Premium of £3,000 pro-rata, per annum which will be reviewed annually.
