Lead Project Coordinator (Scotland)

£32,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time hours)

Full-Time 37.5 hours per week

Base: Flexible working arrangements available with a combination of office and remote work.

About the Role
  • Join Sustrans as a key member of the Strategic Partnerships team.
  • Collaborate with local councils to implement a cohesive strategy for developing active travel infrastructure.
  • Assist in formulating active travel policies and proposals for various planning and project initiatives.

Your responsibilities will encompass both council-related projects and specific tasks aligned with the objectives of the Strategic Partnerships Team.

We have multiple openings working with various councils, each presenting unique approaches to active travel within their services.

This position requires regular travel, including occasional visits to Sustrans offices and overnight stays.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess experience in transport planning, land use planning, urban design, traffic engineering, and sustainable transport project execution. Strong partnership skills and the ability to cultivate effective relationships are essential. You should be capable of working independently, have excellent report writing abilities, and possess knowledge of the funding landscape for active travel in Scotland.
