Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at CV Library. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of tradespeople, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and managing on-site deliveries.

The Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
  • Participate in joinery tasks alongside the team to demonstrate your expertise and leadership skills.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the interpretation of drawings and designs.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and colleagues to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Collaborate with team members to overcome any issues that arise on site, promoting a culture of teamwork and problem-solving.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Manage on-site deliveries, ensuring that materials and equipment are received and stored efficiently.

The Requirements

  • Full understanding of the construction process from start to finish, including the interpretation of drawings, building regulations, and health and safety procedures.
  • Previous experience as a joiner, with a strong understanding of joinery tasks and techniques.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS ticket is required, demonstrating your commitment to health and safety.
  • Valid Black CSCS card, ensuring you have the necessary qualifications and certifications.
  • First Aid certification, demonstrating your ability to respond to emergencies and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Full UK Driving License, enabling you to travel to sites and manage on-site deliveries.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
